Weekly read new healthy tips for "Living in the Abundant life that God wants us to live." Kingdom Health Ministries and Wellness To Go desires you to attain knowledge and wisdom to live that long, prosperous healthy life. Read the weekly affirmation at least daily or even three to four times a day-the word is like medicine for your body.
Everyday Expect , Speak, and Decree a powerful, enemy defeating day.
Have an Eph. 3:20 day-'Now, all glory to God, who is able , through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might as to think' (NIV)
Affirmation for Healing
I declare and decree that I will drink at least 6-8 ounces of water or herbal tea every hour during my waking hours. Water is life for my body and allows my cells to regenerate and heal, my skin to be smooth and supple, my mind to be clear and my joints to be lubricated. This I declare today in Jesus Name,
Amen....
Toxic Colon
Your colon or the body’s sewage system. It is one of the main filters of the body. Did you know that elimination is just as important as eating? It you are eating 3- 4 times a day, you should be eliminating stool (toxins and residual waste material) at least twice a day. Life and Death can begin in the Colon. The main function of the colon is to transport the waste material from the digestive system to be expelled as stool. As I mentioned previously, it is sometimes called the sewer system of the body. The digestive process starts in the mouth, salvia mixes with foods to begin the breakdown to a usable form, and the process is continued in the stomach and small intestines. Later the waste matter that is leftover is transported into the large intestine. Water and sodium is absorbed from the waste as it is pushed through the next stage in the colon. Finally after the absorption phase the solid waste is what we now call stool. The stool is passed through the colon to the return and out as a Bowel movement. The normal consistency of bowel movements is large, well formed, buoyant and NOT accompanied by a foul odor. When the colon is working effectively, it moves the waste material out the body within 16-24 hours after consumption, therefore bacteria which can cause the foul odor, doesn’t get a chance to grow. Some of us don’t eat enough fiber or drink enough fluids to help the colon function on a daily basis and end up with many of the medical conditions we will review later.
It is estimated that over 50 million Americans have problems with their digestive tract, making it a very common problem.
Colon facts
Some of the symptoms that are associated with constipation and toxic buildup include, Fatigue, headache, irritability, anxiety, gas-belching, nausea and abdominal discomfort, insomnia, skin blemishes, acne, dark circles under eyes, brittle hair and nails, bad breath, coated tongue, body odors, overweight, aches & pains throughout the body and wrinkles.
We can help to keep the colon functioning at its optimal level in a number of ways. We should complete some type of colon cleanse on a regular basis. There are many ways to complete this process, hydrotherapy (colonics), Detoxification with herbs and cleanser, even juicing helps to increase anti-oxidants which decrease the risk of diseases. It doesn’t matter what treatments that you use to keep the toxic build-up in the colon at bay. Just Do Something & Do it on a Regular Basis (quarterly, twice a year). Remember that a toxic environment is a perfect breeding ground for harmful bacteria and parasites. Your health can deteriorate quickly and ultimately lead to death if not corrected.
At Wellness To Go, we welcome appointments for consultations on your colon health.
